One of my favorite things to do with berries right before they reach their prime is to blend them up into smoothies or my Acai Bowl Recipe, make them into jam, freeze them for later, or make agua fresca! After purchasing 4 pounds worth of strawberries at Costco the other day, I knew I needed to use them up fast. Obviously, on a hot summer day like today, agua fresca was definitely in order.

🥤What is Agua Fresca?
Agua fresca is Spanish for "fresh water" or "cool water". Made with water and fruit, it is much lighter than juice as it consists mainly of water.
🛒 Ingredients

- Strawberries: Use fresh, not frozen strawberries or you'll end up with a smoothie-like consistency drink (unless you want that consistency!)
- Lime juice: Use fresh-squeezed lime juice. It has a much better flavor than the bottled kind.
- Mint: Mint adds the best refreshing flavor to this drink, but you can opt to leave it out if you prefer.

- Make it ahead - It keeps well in the fridge for up to 2 days, making it perfect for parties or meal prep.
