Thai mango sticky rice only uses four ingredients! A simple, yet satisfying treat to whip up when you are in the mood for something sweet and delectable.
Cook rice according to directions on package, but swap the water out for coconut milk. This should be around 1 cup of coconut milk. Set any remaining milk aside. Stir in 1/4 cup of sugar.
Simmer rice for 15 minutes, or until the coconut milk has been absorbed. Remove from heat.
In a separate saucepan, warm the remainder of the coconut milk over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Add 2 tbsp sugar. Stir until dissolved.
Press cooked rice in a small bowl and turn over onto a plate. Serve with mango slices and drizzle with coconut sauce. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
