This easy homemade hummus is so quick and simple to make. The creamy, light and fluffy dip is the perfect companion to some fresh pita bread and fresh veggies.
In a blender or food processor, blend the tahini, olive oil, cumin, salt, garlic, and lemon juice until well blended.
Add the chickpeas and blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Slowly add in the cold water until the hummus reaches the desired consistency.
Taste and add more salt or lemon juice if desired. Serve with a drizzle of olive oil, dash of paprika and some fresh parsley.
