Servings 16 dates

  • 8 slices bacon
  • 16 medjool dates
  • 4 ounces cream cheese

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Slice the dates lengthwise, remove the pits and lay flat on a baking sheet.

  3. Spoon a small amount of cream cheese into each date, pressing the two sides of the date together to "sandwich" the cream cheese in between.

  4. Cut the bacon slices in half and wrap a piece around each date, securing with a toothpick.

  5. Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and turn the dates to brown the other side. Return for another 10 minutes or until desired crispiness has been reached. Let cool slightly before serving.

Recipe Notes

You can certainly use other dates for this recipe besides medjool, I just found the size of the medjool dates the easiest to stuff.
