This pico de gallo recipe only takes 5 fresh ingredients and 10 minutes to make! It's the perfect accompaniment to chips or your favorite Mexican meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 roma tomatoes,, diced
  • 1/2 large white onion,, diced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper,, seeds removed and diced
  • 1/2 cup cilantro,, chopped
  • 1 lime,, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Place the tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, cilantro, lime juice, salt in a large bowl. Stir to combine. Taste and add more lime juice or salt if desired.
  2. For the best flavor, allow to sit in the refrigerator for 30 minutes or overnight. Serve with chips or your favorite Mexican meal.

Notes

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
