Thai mango sticky rice is made with sticky rice, a sweet, creamy coconut milk sauce, and served with tender slices of mango. Take one bite of this sweet treat and you'll see why it's a Thai favorite!
Cook rice according to directions on package, but swap the water out for coconut milk. This should be around 1 cup of coconut milk. Set any remaining milk aside. Stir in ¼ cup of sugar.
Simmer rice for 15 minutes, or until the coconut milk has been absorbed. Remove from heat.
In a separate saucepan, warm the remainder of the coconut milk over medium-low heat for 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoon sugar. Stir until dissolved.
Press cooked rice in a small bowl and turn over onto a plate. Serve with mango slices and drizzle with coconut sauce. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds if desired.
