As a kid reading Harry Potter, I always dreamed of trying out all of the wizard treats, so I decided to start recreating versions of them in my own kitchen (like Frozen Butterbeer and Butterbeer Crepes) and of course Pumpkin Juice.

This version of the drink is so simple to make. Just throw everything in the blender and you'll be enjoying "fall in a glass" in no time! I love serving the juice over ice for a refreshing treat, but it's also super cozy served warm on a chilly day. It's a fun, magical drink that both kids and adults will enjoy!

❤️ Why You'll Love This Recipe

  • Magical and Fun - Bring a taste of the wizarding world right to your kitchen. It's the perfect drink for Harry Potter fans!
  • Quick and Easy - Just toss everything in the blender and you'll be enjoying this festive drink in no time.
  • Perfectly Spiced - If you love all things pumpkin flavored in the fall, your taste buds will go crazy for this cozy blend of pumpkin, apple cider, and pumpkin pie spice.

🛒 Ingredients

  • Pumpkin Puree: I love using canned pumpkin puree here because it gives the drink the perfect fall flavor and creamy texture, without any work! Just make sure you grab pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling, which contains sugar and spices.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice: This spice mix is my favorite shortcut to getting all of the warm, cozy flavors (think cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves) in just one scoop! You can even make your own Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice blend if you're feeling ambitious.
  • Apple Cider: This is the base of the drink. I love how it gives the pumpkin juice a crisp, fruity flavor!

See the recipe card below for full information on ingredients and quantities.

🔄 Substitutions & Variations

  • Canned Pumpkin: You can use fresh pumpkin puree if you have it on hand, just make sure it's well blended and smooth.
  • Pumpkin Pie Spice: If you don't have this blend, you can add in ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ⅛ teaspoon nutmeg, and ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves or ginger instead.
  • Granulated Sugar: Swap with brown sugar, maple syrup, or honey for a different flavor.
  • Apple Cider: You can also use apple juice, it will just be a bit lighter and sweeter.

 🎃How to Make Pumpkin Juice

  • Step 1: Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend until thoroughly combined.
  • Step 2: Pour the juice into individual glasses and add ice.

🌟Expert Tips

  • Use apple cider if you can. Cider gives the drink a richer spiced flavor than plain apple juice.
  • Chill before serving. Letting the blended juice sit in the fridge for an hour or two helps the flavors meld together.
  • Strain for a smoother drink. If you want a thinner, juice-like texture, you can pour it through a fine mesh strainer before serving.

💭FAQs

Can I make a larger batch for a party?

Absolutely! Simply increase the ingredients to suit your needs. Just remember to stir or shake well before serving.

Can I serve this pumpkin juice warm?

While this recipe is typically served chilled over ice, you can heat the mixture in a saucepan for a cozy, warm version of pumpkin juice.

How should I store leftovers?

Keep the juice in a sealed jar or pitcher in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Shake or stir it before serving.
